As soon as you join our team, we begin working with you to help you get started. You will take part in our intensive two-week program that takes place at Kats Café headquarters in Morningside as well as assisting you to secure a location for your business. We provide you with floor plans for your specific location and help you order your equipment package for timely delivery.

Once your restaurant opens, we have systems in place to help you operate your business effectively. Our in-depth manual covers a full range of topics vital to running your business and a representative will help you get started and provide ongoing operational evaluations. You will be assigned a coordinator who will serve as your main contact person, who is just a phone call or email away.

Our executive chef, baking specialists, staff nutritionist and product development team continually strive to make our excellent food even better. Here is a summary of our franchise program:

The franchisee is responsible for amongst other things:

1. Initial franchisee fee
2. Hiring employees and operating the restaurant
3. Paying a royalty
4. Paying an advertising fee into the advertising fund.

The franchisor provides amongst other things:

1. Access to product formulas and operational systems
2. Location assistance
3. Kiosk design guidance
4. Training programs
5. Operations Manual
6. Representative on-site during opening
7. Periodic evaluations and ongoing support.
