Introducing Kat’s Café

Kat’s Café is a ‘gourmet to go’ food franchise with a focus on taste and luxury. We offer speciality coffee, luxury baguettes, sandwiches and pastries for the busy consumer who is always on the go. Kat’s Café serves only the finest 100% Arabica Illy® coffee beans that have been specially roasted and made into high end coffees by our trained baristas.

Kat’s Café was started by Katerina and Peter, and personifies a love and passion for coffee as well as the desire to provide customers with gourmet food on the go. They believe that fast food does not have to mean a compromise on freshness, flavour or the quality of the ingredients. Kat’s Café creates ‘gourmet to go’ baguettes, sandwiches and pastries that have been freshly made using the finest ingredients available. The result is quality convenience food that does not sacrifice taste for speed. Kat’s Café is owned by Peter and Katerina Konidaris, both of whom are well known and extremely well respected in the food industry, with a reputation that has been earned largely due to the couple’s 25 years of experience.

The Kat’s Café technique

Our unique ‘baguette fill’ method utilises fresh, ready-made fillings on stainless steel trays, displayed in our fridges. Your selection is then placed into a freshly baked roll – ciabatta or rye. Add your choice of gourmet coffee or favourite beverage to your order.

Fillings include Parma ham, imported Italian salami, rare roast beef, imported cheeses, roasted vegetables, pesto and other relishes that accompany the fine meats and cheeses on offer. The total experience is fast food that is fine food, an experience of quality and luxury that is quick and convenient.
